Portland, Oregon- Located in east Portland. A two story building that once served as retirement
home, possibly a frat house, and more recently as 2 separate residential rental units.
OPI received a request from a family of seven reporting unexplained activity in their house.
Client states, that the activity started not too long after move in.
Client states that a shadow is seen in Master bedroom by both her and husband. Husband reports
being awoke from sleep by dark shadow and poked in the chest. Voices and laughing are heard
throughout the home, client hears her name being called when no one is there. Vibrations are felt
around the bed, and banging sounds are felt and heard in different parts of the home.
Observations and Experiences: EMF readings were taken over the entire 5 bedroom location.
Several locations had high EMF reading. Further investigating revealed the high EMF to be cause
by fluorescent lighting fixtures from the first floor unit. A number of possible EVPs were
recorded but many were ruled out based upon being very faint and indiscernible. The team did
agree on several EVPs, one being of a male, another being female. The male is recorded as
saying," I lived'. The female voice is not discernible but investigators voices are ruled out. OPI
did not witness any shadows or other sensory perceptions at this location.
At the request of the client the house was blessed.
