Oregon City, Oregon
Oregon City- located southeast of Portland on the east side of the Willamette River. The first
permanent Euro-American settlement in the Willamette Valley and the first incorporated city
west of the Rocky Mountains. Founded in 1829 it first became the home to fur traders and
missionaries. As “the end of the Oregon Trail,” it soon became the final destination for many
early immigrants.
Client's reports the following: Activity begun just a couple days after moving in. Client states seeing
a man and little child that is reported to be wearing older style clothing. Reports include seeing
dark shadow like figures wandering the hallway and near the children’s bathroom, mother's
room and the children’s room. In addition, reports of voices that sound like woman’s, a little boy
and a newborn baby crying. One tenant also reports the feeling of someone crawling into her
bed.
Observations and Experiences: While client’s statements are credible, OPI did not record or
capture any physical evidence at this location. The history of this apartment was researched and
does not have any reported history of paranormal activity either.
Being an apartment, adjacent to the entry/exit street, OPI did hear voices from those passing by
and were also able to duplicate some shadows as reported but do not think that this fully explains
what clients have reported.
While there remains much crucial information revealed by clients to OPI, much of it remains
client confidential. One noticeable factor reported by client is the addition of a new roommate,
who stated his last place of residence had similar activity as now being reported by members of
current client’s household.
OPI was unable to interview this person or validate his statements in person, therefore it remains
second hand. It could be the activity reported by this household is attached directly to the new
roommate.
Recommendations were made based on OPI experience.
