Oregon City, located southeast of Portland on the east side of the Willamette River. The first permanent
Euro-American settlement in the Willamette Valley and the first incorporated city west of the Rocky
Mountains. Founded in 1829 it first became the home to fur traders and missionaries. As “the end of the
Oregon Trail,” it soon became the final destination for many early immigrants.
Client reports: "I live with my parents and boyfriend in Oregon City. For the past few months my boyfriend,
and I have been hearing voices, things like a muttered conversation and "Hello". There are footsteps when
nobody else is home, knocking and banging at all hours of the night and downstairs the computer keyboard
sounds like it is being typed on. I am very interested in the paranormal but am scared to be alone in the
house, day or night.
My parents are very skeptical, want to witness, and hear some of these things themselves".
Observations and Experiences: OPI was able to attribute much of the reported activity to natural
and man made causes. Electrical interference was also determined to be a cause of some of the
reported activity. Recommendations were made to the client to on ways to reduce and eliminate the
electrical interference.
While OPI believes that all reported activity at this location is a result of man made events it is
important to remember not every investigation reveals paranormal activity.
