Hillsboro, Oregon-Located just a few miles west of Portland and is currently a hub for the high technology
industry.
The first people of the Tualatin Valley were the Atfalati or Tualaty tribe of the Kalapuya, who inhabited the
region for up to 10,000 years before white settlers arrived.
OPI first received a request for help in March 2009. Client followed up shortly after stating " After we got off the
phone with you it was made clear to us by the entity that things would get much worse if we pursued having you
investigate. My husband does not wish to bring anyone into the house. He just wants to move out as quickly as
possible".
In late June client again contact OPI stating that " WE got the hell out of that house!!! We acted as quickly as
possible, bought a house, and we have completed our move. We still have the house until the first if you want to
check it out, but we are gone, and NEVER going back.
Client reports: “We noticed things moving around and noises almost right away but things seemed pretty
benevolent to me so I just though whatever it was trying to let us know they were there”. In early spring clients
begin to dig up and replant in the front and backyard of their house. Very soon after that things in the house began
to escalate.
Cigarette smells, chairs are moved out from the table into the walkways, doors to the hall linen closet keep
opening of their own accord, lights in the hall and back bedrooms keep turning on by themselves, things fall off
the kitchen counters and dining room tables. “Husband keeps having terrible nightmares about the kids getting
hurt and him having to fight something off to keep them safe. “
Client also states that husband was in master bedroom “and a picture of him and I was flung at him from across the
room. It had been sitting on top of his tall dresser and came flying at him from 5 feet away, spinning through the
air at his head. I heard him screaming and came running from across the house. He was white as a sheet and
shaking as he told me what happened.”
Both husband and wife are “constantly exhausted”. “The feeling of negativity in the house is like a cloud. As soon
as we leave the house, the negative feelings inside start to fade.”
This has become an unlivable situation and something has to change. We can't afford to move right now. But we
can't keep sharing this house with this negative influence. Please help.
Observations and Experiences: On short notice OPI accepted an invitation to investigate client's location.
Upon arrival, client met OPI outside of the house. The house was vacant and was due for a final cleaning. Client
was very anxious and apparently very affected by his experiences while residing in the house with his family. It
took sometime before client was willing to renter the house and show OPI around.
During the course of the investigation OPI performed the usual EMF,temperature, and environmental checks.
There was no variance from the baseline readings during the investigation. Several recorders were placed in the
alleged high activity areas for the duration of the investigation.
A number of EVP's were recorded including what appears to be both male and female voices. "I help" and "he is
starting to leave" were recorded during the course of the investigation and as OPI was packing up. A number of
other EVPs were recorded with a few that just did not make sense!
It is important to remember when reviewing EVPs that we do not attempt to force a unrecognizable word or
phrase into a recognizable word or phrase. There are many reasons why a strange word or phrase may be used by
an entity but unless you have direct and complete access to their personal life you may never fully understand why
such unusual words are spoken.
I fully agree with the client's statement that "We will be hearing more about this house in the future!"
industry.
