Long Beach, Washington
Per clients request, hotel name not disclosed
Long Beach began when Henry Harrison Tinker bought a land claim from Charles E. Reed in 1880. He platted the town and
called it "Tinkerville.
In January, OPI was given the privilege of spending the night in one of the alleged haunted rooms at the Long Beach Hotel.
Upon, arrival and speaking with the desk clerk, OPI was kindly invited to tour each of the rooms that had been given the label
of being haunted. Two of the hotel rooms had a high number of reports of paranormal activity. Alleged activities include, a
candle flying from book case to the floor, and a lighter flying past the head of one occupant. In addition, it is reported a ash
tray lifted off the coffee table an spun around in full view of the room occupants. Also, unexplained noises, movement of
objects in the bedroom and other unexplained events were witnessed by the room occupants.
OPI was invited to do another walk through of both rooms later the same night which we immediately accepted. During the
walk through of one of the cottages a one word voice was recorded on audio which the occupants believe to be the voice of her
brother that had recently passed on. Over the course of the next several months the OPI team was given the opportunity to
complete two full formal investigations at the hotel and cottage in question.
On our second formal investigation we picked up numerous EVPs and many very faint whispers and voices.
Our third investigation OPI was accompanied by a freelance writer/reporter, whom had an interest in putting together an
article about the paranormal based upon his participation and observations in this investigation. Things were much quieter and
almost peaceful.
We were unable to validate the physical movement of objects as witness by three of the hotel residents but did capture a high
number of EVP's. The location continues to experience paranormal activity but on a smaller scale and remains a open case with
OPI.
